Agave to Launch Tequila with Visit from Casa Herradura

Issaquah, WA, July 31, 2013 – Anticipation has been building since early April 2013,when Federico Ramos, co-owner of Agave Restaurants, led a team to Casa Herradura in the heart of Mexico’s tequila region to select just one barrel of tequila. The tequila they chose was to be the basis for a unique, limited-edition tequila made only for Agave Restaurants.

The tequila has arrived and it is time for a celebration! Agave will celebrate the debut of their own tequila from Casa Herradura with events on Aug 20th and Aug 22nd. Their hosts from Casa Herradura will be coming from Jalisco, MX for the occasion.

Event Schedule

August 20th 4-6 PM – Agave Cocina & Tequilas, Issaquah, WA
Meet representatives from Casa Herradura at a cocktail party at the Issaquah restauraunt.

August 22nd 5-8PM – Agave Cocina & Cantina, Redmond, WA
Dinner paired with tequilas featuring the Agave tequila from Casa Herradura.

Agave is one of the few restaurants in the area to have its own tequila. It is available only at Agave Restaurants.

In production since 1870, Casa Herradura is one of the oldest producers of tequila.
